hey guys

wonder if you guys even come and read this anymore, lol. life's been good, abeit a tad busy at times. i'm in the third week of my rural medicine rotation and it's been a blast! loads of hands on, loads of doctoring work done. no more spectator sporting like in the previous rotations where u just stand and watch, lol.

i'm in this town (i won't call it tiny) called Kingaroy. according to our trusty wikipedia,

"Kingaroy is an agricultural town in Queensland, Australia, approximately 209 kilometres or about 2.5 hours drive northwest of the state capital Brisbane. At the 2006 census, Kingaroy had a population of 7,620.."

"It is known as the "Peanut Capital of Australia" because Australia's largest peanut processing plant is located in the town and peanut silos dominate the skyline."

its a really nice and cosy town. its got everything a person would need, supermarkets and stuff. and i was kinda worried that i'll bore to death, lol.

thank god theres another dude here as well, so it doesnt suck that much.

my accommodation here for the first 3 weeks is awesome! uhm like a very nice furnished service apartment. for the next 3 weeks i'll live with this lady who has very kindly taken students in for their rotations in kingaroy. i've met her, shes really nice and she has a dog and 2 cats! really cute, really fun but i dunno i can layan her for how long lol.
